Create Educational Materials Without Starting from Scratch: How Arasaac’s New Tool Works

This is a proposal focused on creating materials ready for use in the classroom, educational and therapeutic settings, or at home. The tool allows users to generate different types of activities based on Arasaac pictograms and resources, adapting them to each user’s goals and characteristics.

FROM CALENDAR CREATION TO CUT-OUT DICE

ARActivities offers options including the creation of boards, schedules, calendars, bingo games, dominoes, odd-one-out activities and cut-out dice, among other resources. In this way, education professionals, specialists, families and other educational stakeholders can access personalized materials without having to design them from scratch.

It is also worth highlighting that the tool will be able to use AI to streamline and facilitate the creation of different activities. One of ARActivities’ main goals is to reduce the time and effort involved in preparing certain educational materials, offering an alternative that enables resources to be generated quickly and in a personalized way.

This new tool joins the resources developed by Arasaac to promote communication, cognitive accessibility and the participation of people with communication challenges, thereby reinforcing the commitment of this project to creating and disseminating resources that can be used by the educational community and society as a whole. The project operates under the Directorate-General for Educational Policy, Planning, Equity and Training of the Department of Education, Science and Universities.
