Rain forecast for Tuesday, September 29, is raising concerns about ravines and minor waterways in Aragón. The Ebro Hydrographic Confederation (CHE) warns that sudden rises could occur in the morning and afternoon. The alert follows the State Meteorological Agency’s (Aemet) forecast of storms and intense rainfall in various parts of the basin.
The CHE warning also covers Navarra and the provinces of Lleida and Tarragona. In these areas, Aemet has issued yellow and orange alerts for possible storms, intense rainfall and accumulated precipitation. The CHE recalls that these episodes can cause rapid rises in water levels in ravines and minor waterways during the morning and afternoon.
In this situation, the Ebro Hydrographic Confederation recommends checking Aemet’s weather information and monitoring hydrological data from SAIH Ebro. It also urges people to follow updates published on its website and comply at all times with the recommendations issued by Civil Protection services during the day.
