“The only possible objective must be to reach an agreement that improves the University of Zaragoza,” Azcón said, adding that he is “convinced” they will reach an agreement before 2027. In this regard, he referred to an agreement that “continues to support quality, sustainable growth in the number of students, professors and staff and, of course, infrastructure.”
The president also expressed the “pride” that Aragonese people should feel in their public university. “The Government of Aragon is proud of the magnificent work being done by the rector and her entire governing team. I believe they are doing a very good job, one that benefits all Aragonese people,” he stressed.
“It is one of the main drivers of the economic, social and cultural development of our autonomous community, and there is no doubt that our commitment to it will continue,” the president of Aragon said.
