Aragón TV brings together Aragonese talent for a night of film and dance with "Uno para todos" and Víctor Ullate

This Monday, September 28, Aragón TV will devote an entire evening to Aragonese audiovisual productions, featuring film, dance and short films linked to the region. The schedule begins at 10:50 p.m. with "Uno para todos," David Ilundain's film, largely shot in Caspe, and continues with "Ullate, la danza de la vida," Elena Cid's documentary about Zaragoza-born dancer and choreographer Víctor Ullate.

The film 'Uno para todos' will open this special schedule with a story closely linked to Aragón. Much of the filming took place in Caspe, with the participation of numerous local children, and the feature film also involved Aragón TV.

David Ilundain directed the film, which stars David Verdaguer alongside Patricia López Arnaiz, Clara Segura and Aragonese actress Ana Labordeta, among other performers. Verdaguer received a Goya nomination for Best Actor for his work in the film.

The story follows Álex, a substitute teacher who arrives in an unfamiliar town to take charge of a sixth-grade class. His seemingly routine life changes when he discovers that one of his students, Carlos, has cancer and must return to school.

VÍCTOR ULLATE, A LIFE DEVOTED TO DANCE

Aragón TV will then broadcast, at 12:30 a.m., "Ullate, la danza de la vida," a documentary feature directed and written by Elena Cid that explores the extraordinary professional and personal journey of Víctor Ullate.

The documentary turns the life of the Zaragoza-born dancer, teacher and choreographer into a journey through several decades of dance history in Spain. The production revisits his early years with María de Ávila and Antonio Ruiz Soler 'Antonio el Bailarín', his international breakthrough with Maurice Béjart, the creation of Spain's first National Classical Ballet and the subsequent launch of his own school and company.

Ullate himself guides a narrative that features some of the leading figures in dance and culture, including Nacho Duato, Joaquín de Luz, Mónica Cruz, Lola de Ávila, Víctor Ullate Roche, Lucía Lacarra and Iana Salenko.

TWO SHORT FILMS COMPLETE THE NIGHT

The schedule devoted to Aragonese audiovisual productions will continue at 2:10 a.m. with "Moliner y compañía," by Cristina Gálvez and Javier Alvero. The short film revisits the figure of María Moliner and her role during one of Spain's major periods of educational and cultural transformation, from her training to her work at the Estudio de Filología de Aragón and her involvement with the Pedagogical Missions.

'Último superviviente a bordo' will close the night at 2:20 a.m. The science-fiction short is directed by Zaragoza-born filmmaker Jorge Blas and stars Manuel Zarzo and Alexandra Jiménez. The story takes viewers to a devastated, lifeless Earth, where a veteran astronaut attempts to preserve the last memories of humanity aboard his spacecraft with the help of artificial intelligence.
