The agreement initially provides for immediately studying the legal formula that would allow compensation for the extraordinary effort made during this summer’s wildfire campaign, as well as establishing a schedule of meetings to address the various issues raised by the trade unions in an orderly manner.
The negotiation process will begin by examining the possibility of increasing staff numbers and redistributing the assigned locations of the Agents for the Protection of Nature (APN), with the aim of optimizing their working conditions and the organization of the operation.
THEY WILL CONTINUE WORKING “WITH SERIOUSNESS AND RIGOR”
The Government of Aragón views the agreement positively, as it establishes a negotiation channel to “address the demands” of staff from the Department of Environment and Tourism who are part of the Infoar operation “through dialogue and the legally established channels.”
It also reaffirms its willingness to continue working “with seriousness and rigor” alongside the trade unions to improve the conditions of all professionals involved in Infoar, analyzing the various measures “responsibly, in accordance with technical and organizational needs and within the framework of current legal regulations and procedures.”
