The Mérida-born midfielder has signed a one-year contract with the Thai club, where he will share a team with Sebas Moyano. Moyano was another member of the squad that was relegated to Primera RFEF and moved to Burinam United at the beginning of last summer's transfer window.
As a result, only four players from last year's squad remain without a club: Pablo Insua, Aleksandar Radovanovic, Raúl Guti and Paulino de la Fuente. They are all free agents and can therefore sign for any club, even outside the transfer window.
HIS THREE YEARS IN ZARAGOZA
Toni Moya joined Real Zaragoza from Deportivo Alavés, a team that earned promotion to the top flight, in the summer of 2023. He never managed to show consistent form during his time in the Aragonese capital and was not a regular starter in any season, proving more of an intermittent midfielder than a difference-maker in the division.
During his three seasons in Zaragoza, he made 102 appearances, scoring two goals and providing 11 assists. At 28, he has decided to move to Thailand to continue his career.
