Tobajas, who turns 20 next December, arrived at the Ciudad Deportiva during the 2021/22 season, at cadet level, from Club Deportivo Ebro. Since then, he has continued to develop and even made his Real Zaragoza first-team debut at the end of last season. It came against Real Sporting de Gijón at the Ibercaja Estadio.

Since this preseason, current Real Zaragoza manager Ibai Gómez has included him permanently in the first-team setup. After being part of the squad that traveled to Boltaña, he has become a regular in daily training. He also scored his first goal in the friendly match between the club and U.D. Logroñés, which the blanquillo side won 2-1 on August 14.

Tobajas is a talented attacking midfielder who stands out for his confidence and excellent vision when delivering the final pass. With this renewal, Real Zaragoza has secured the services for four seasons of one of the academy's most promising players.
