First, the standings. Real Zaragoza are the sole leaders. Murcia are second with 15 points, already outside the direct promotion places. Villarreal B are third with 14, two fewer than the Aragonese side.
A previously overlooked team now appears: Hércules de Alicante. After beating Sant Andreu on Sunday (1-0), they have 13 points, one more than fifth-placed Alcorcón.

The privileged positions end here. Real Zaragoza have four more points than Cartagena, who are sixth, a position that no longer offers promotion opportunities. At this stage, the figures are not bad. And although the Aragonese side may not win every game in this division, this start is considered very good.
THE MATCH
A fundamental match against Real Murcia will take place this Sunday at 6:15 p.m. The group leadership is at stake, as is gaining an advantage in goal difference. That could prove decisive at the end of the season.
Real Zaragoza need to win. They are the leaders, yes, but leaders who depend on this fixture to remain at the top.
THE WEEK
Real Zaragoza rested on Monday and will do so again on Tuesday. They are scheduled to return to work on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the training ground, in an open session.
Preparation will conclude on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the same place and time, but behind closed doors. On Sunday at 6:15 p.m., the match that will determine the group leaders for the next round is scheduled to take place.
