Primera RFEF has averaged a total of 755,000 viewers during this early stage of the competition, representing a remarkable 96.47% increase compared with last season, when the figure stood at just 432,000 viewers. Real Zaragoza has played a major role in these figures, as the most-watched match so far was the meeting between Real Zaragoza and Cartagena at Ibercaja Estadio.

The match between the Aragonese and Cartagena sides, played on matchday four, averaged 178,000 viewers and reached 535,000 unique viewers. In addition, the game, which ended in a 1-0 win for Zaragoza thanks to a goal from Jaume Jardí, achieved a 27.9% share on Aragón TV.

A HUGE GROWTH

As a result, the average number of viewers from one season to the next has risen by 323,000. In total, 3,181,000 unique viewers watched some of the matches broadcast on television, a figure representing an increase of 2,561,000 compared with the previous season.

This figure reinforces the positive development of Primera RFEF, which continues to break records and establish itself as an attractive audiovisual product for the public, largely thanks to important clubs with extensive fan bases, such as Real Zaragoza, which have ended up playing in Spain’s third tier.
