Real Zaragoza awaits decision on Cadete B coach stood down over mistreatment
Real Zaragoza has stood down a youth team coach, specifically from the Cadete B, over the “degrading treatment” of his players. The parents of the 14-year-olds reported the matter to the training ground, which took the preventive measure. He did not coach the team this Saturday in their match against Racing Zaragoza, which kicked off at 12:30 p.m. The coach joined Real Zaragoza from that club this summer. A final decision is now pending.

The coach has not led the Real Zaragoza Cadete B’s last training sessions and did not take his place on the bench for the team’s match this Saturday. As a result, the coach remains stood down by the Zaragoza club.
Several parents of players on the team brought the matter to the attention of members of Real Zaragoza’s training ground. They said the coach had used disparaging and insulting language toward some of the boys both during matches and training sessions. According to some sources, this led three parents to raise their concerns about the incidents with the club.
No final decision has yet been made on the case, but the coach was not present this weekend for the match his team played against Racing Zaragoza. The Real Zaragoza youth players won 5-0.
