The promotion playoff places are completed by Alcorcón, who beat Torremolinos 5-0, Real Murcia, who defeated Nástic 2-0, and Real Jaén, who occupy the final spot after a goalless draw against Hércules. The Alicante side are now one point away from the playoff places, while just three points separate the rest of the table down to Algeciras, who currently sit just above the relegation zone with seven points.
HUESCA CLIMB, TERUEL SINK
S.D. Huesca claimed their second win with a convincing 3-1 victory over Europa and have climbed to ninth place with nine points. They are two points from the playoff places and four clear of relegation.
Teruel, meanwhile, are still waiting for their first three-point haul after suffering a heavy defeat at Ibercaja Estadio. They remain in the relegation zone with two points, occupying second-last place. Kiko Ramírez's side are only above Juventud Torremolinos, who have collected one point so far.
Europa and Rayo Majadahonda complete the relegation places with four points, while Águilas are the team currently occupying the final spot in the danger zone with five points.
