As a result, the clash between the Zaragoza and Huesca sides will take place on Saturday, November 7 at 9:00 p.m. at Ibercaja Estadio and, as expected, will be broadcast free-to-air by Aragón TV. The convenient time could allow fans from Alto Aragón to travel to the regional capital to attend a Zaragoza stadium that this season is allowing visiting supporters in its stands.
All this comes after the disgraceful spectacle witnessed in the last match between Huesca and Real Zaragoza, when neither side could avoid relegation from the Segunda División. In that match, played at the end of April with both teams involved in the fight for survival, the result was overshadowed by the regrettable violent incidents on the pitch, where Andrada delivered an excessive assault on Jorge Pulido that sparked a huge brawl between the two teams.
Now, one division lower, both Real Zaragoza and Huesca are seeking a return to professional football. For the time being, the Blanquillo club is finding the right path and sits top of the table. Huesca, meanwhile, have yet to find their direction, a situation that led to the dismissal of Raúl Jadiel and the arrival of Albert Rudé on the Huesca bench.
THE SCHEDULE
Before hosting Huesca, Real Zaragoza have three fixtures ahead of them. This coming Sunday at 6:15 p.m., they will visit Murcia; on Friday, October 23 at 12:15 p.m., they will travel to Barcelona to face Europa; and finally, on Saturday, October 31 at 9:00 p.m., they will host Villarreal B on their return to Ibercaja Estadio.
On the Huesca side, Albert Rudé's team will visit Alcorcón this coming Friday at 9:15 p.m. in what will be the Catalan coach's debut, host Antequera on Saturday, October 24 at 4:30 p.m., and return to El Alcoraz to face Nastic de Tarragona on Monday, November 2 at 8:30 p.m.
