The fact is that, with the Pimentoneros, he has been unable to build up meaningful minutes or serious opportunities. He has not scored either, and has only played in Matchdays 2, 4 and 7. The former Real Zaragoza player, who has already turned 35, has seen limited action.
The striker crossed paths with Real Zaragoza in the 2021/22 season. He arrived in the Aragonese capital after three promising seasons. In 2018/19, he was Segunda División's top scorer with 20 goals, while in 2019/20 he won promotion to the Primera División with Cádiz, although he did not play a major role. That promotion, in fact, was the one Real Zaragoza came close to achieving before Covid arrived.

A season later, after failing to play a major role in the top flight despite scoring two goals, he was loaned to Real Mallorca in January. He also won promotion to the Primera División with them, although once again without playing a prominent role.
That was when Real Zaragoza decided to sign him for the 2021/22 campaign. With Miguel Torrecilla as sporting director and Juan Ignacio Martínez in the dugout, the attacker scored five goals and provided three assists in 34 matches. That year was the best – in a manner of speaking – of their recent seasons in Segunda División, as they finished tenth in the table.
He returned to Cádiz, the club from which he had arrived on loan. The club was then in the Primera División, where he played one more season. Racing de Ferrol subsequently signed him, and he spent two years there in Segunda División, scoring almost 20 goals in all competitions, including three against Real Zaragoza, followed by another season in Primera RFEF. That last campaign was the previous one, when he scored nine goals.

This summer, Real Murcia decided to sign him. However, he has not had the expected role. He has not featured in coach Sergi Guilló's plans. His role against Real Zaragoza remains to be seen.
MORE FAMILIAR FACES
Real Zaragoza will face more familiar faces. In fact, Real Murcia have three former S.D. Huesca players. The best known is goalkeeper Dani Jiménez, who was suspended for last season's Aragonese clash after delivering a hard punch to Esteban Andrada's neck. Andrada had previously attacked Pulido.
Huesca's first coach in the 2025/26 season was Sergi Guilló, the current Murcia manager, while Javi Mier is further back, now working in the club's engine room. Reunions are expected in Sunday's match, where Real Zaragoza can strengthen its position at the top of the table. That is an important matter with eight rounds of competition already completed.
