Vox Aragón renews its Congress candidates for 29N: Rouco leads in Zaragoza

A familiar Vox face in the region is taking the lead in Zaragoza. Carmen Rouco, first vice president of the Aragon Parliament, heads the list in place of Pedro Fernández, who left the party in 2024. Juan José Coca is number two and Virginia Gallizo number three.

Rouco has been a career civil servant in the Justice Administration since 1984, working professionally in Lérida, Ejea de los Caballeros and Zaragoza. From 2019 to 2023, she was deputy spokesperson for the Vox municipal group in Zaragoza City Council. Since May 2023, she has been a Vox lawmaker in the Aragon Parliament, serving as spokesperson for Public Works and Housing. She is currently the first vice president of the Aragon Parliament.

NEW FACES IN HUESCA AND TERUEL

Ester Blanco heads Vox's Congress candidacy in Huesca, while Sergio Marco and Beatriz Oliván complete the list. Ester Blanco, 40, holds a degree in Archaeology from the Complutense University of Madrid and is a senior technician in Artistic Jewelry and Silversmithing.

The candidate has lived in Panticosa for six years, although her ties to the Pyrenees in Huesca date back to her childhood. Born in Madrid, her mother's family comes from this town in Huesca, where she spent long periods from an early age. After maintaining this family and personal connection to the area for years, she decided to establish her permanent residence there, where she works as a self-employed professional. Vox says her work as a self-employed person has allowed her to gain first-hand knowledge of the demands of running a small business.

Finally, Vox's candidate for Congress in Teruel is Daniel Alda, 27, who was born in Alcalá de Henares and has close family ties to Bajo Aragón. He holds a degree in History with an Extraordinary Award from the University of Alcalá and studied for a Master's degree in Economic History at the University of Barcelona, receiving the same distinction.

Since 2022, he has been managing a family farm and, over the past two years, has combined this work with his role as an assistant in the Agriculture, Ecological Transition and Culture departments of the Vox Parliamentary Group in the Congress of Deputies. María Nieves Calle and Francisco José Martes complete the list.
