ANA ALÓS AND ALBERTO HERRERO TO RUN AGAIN IN HUESCA AND TERUEL
In Huesca, the secretary-general of the Aragonese People's Party, Ana Isabel Alós López, is once again leading the list for the Congress of Deputies. The lower-house ballot is completed by José Ignacio Gramún Castillo and María Sonia Bastinos Bordas. The PP's Senate list in Huesca comprises Melania Mur Sangra, José Antonio Lagüéns Martín and Blanca Mónica Galindo Sanz.
Finally, in Teruel province, Calanda mayor and MP Alberto Herrero Bono is once again leading the Congress of Deputies list, followed by Raquel Clemente Muñoz and Mario Latorre Ros. The main Senate candidates in Teruel are Teruel mayor Emma Buj Sánchez, Carlos Boné Amela and Celia Durbán Solaz.
All these lists have been sent to the national leadership of the People's Party, which must ratify them. Changes, particularly to the Senate lists, are also possible between now and Monday, the deadline for submitting the candidacies, due to negotiations being held across Spain with Vox in response to the alliance between the PSOE and Frente Amplio.
For this election, the Aragonese People's Party aims to surpass or at least repeat its victory with 36.27% of the vote in the 2023 general election, when it won three seats in Zaragoza, two seats in Huesca and another two in Teruel.
