The coalition announced the agreement and extended an invitation to Podemos to join before Friday.

In the statement, they said their goal is to win representation in the Congress of Deputies in order to bring “Aragon’s voice to Madrid” and place the region’s needs at the center of the national agenda. They argue that this is a “broad, plural and recognizable” electoral agreement capable of turning existing public support into parliamentary representation.

We announce the “Chunta Aragonesista - Frente Amplio Aragón” Agreement. Thanks to the work of IU Aragón, Mov. Sumar Aragón, Partido Verde Aragón and Recortes 0. And our hand remains extended to Podemos. Together, we will bring a voice from Aragón to Madrid and stop the right https://t.co/D5BvJ3ZB0l — Jorge Pueyo (@jorge_pueyo95) October 15, 2026

The coalition says it will be “the ballot to fight against those who see us as a territory of neglect and sacrifice, who speculate with our homes, our mountains or our land, who privatize our healthcare and education, build cities without trees and with concrete souls, and want our villages empty.” “So that we can live here and say that Aragón is not for sale,” the statement concludes.

CHA president Jorge Pueyo announced the agreement in a video posted on his social media accounts. In it, he acknowledged that his party could win “the seat on its own,” but in his view this is “irrelevant” because “people on the streets were calling for unity.”

He also acknowledged that one actor is still missing: Podemos. He extended “the gauntlet” to the party so that it could join and help ensure that Aragón does not become a second-tier region, as José Antonio Labordeta did. The agreement will be presented this Friday at the San Lázaro balcony by Pueyo, Frente Amplio candidate Ada Colau and its lead candidate for Madrid, Emilio Delgado.
