The divide for Aragonese teams: Contazara bottom, Bada sole leader

The season has been far from smooth for BM Contazara, who have yet to earn a point after four rounds and lost to Quireza Events Cisne (26-22). Meanwhile, Bada Huesca secured a fourth straight win against Helvetia Anaitasuna (35-32), highlighting the contrasting fortunes of the two Aragonese teams in the División de Honor Plata. The result leaves Zaragoza-based Contazara bottom with no points, while Nolasco's side leads the standings outright with eight points.

Contazara were thoroughly outplayed by the home side from the start and, despite several mistakes by the Galicians and Wagner's strong performance, the score at halftime was 17-10. It was a sizeable deficit that forced the Zaragoza side to raise their level considerably to salvage at least a draw from the match.

Coach Carlos García opted to press much higher up the court to force the opponents into mistakes. The tactic worked only partially, but the deficit was too large to overcome. The Galicians managed the situation well to claim a hard-fought victory.

BADA ARE HEADING STRAIGHT FOR PROMOTION

Bada Huesca welcomed their main rivals for promotion to the Liga Asobal, Helvetia Anaitasuna. The first half began at a frantic pace, with both teams showing their attacking intent from the opening minute. As the half progressed, both defenses began to tighten up, while missed shots also played a crucial role. The Navarrese side held a narrow lead (16-18) after 30 highly intense minutes at the Palacio de los Deportes.

After the break, Bada Huesca came out determined to change the course of the match. Jaime Gallardo Nieto stood out as one of the key players in cutting the deficit, scoring several times from favorable positions. Anaitasuna were thoroughly outplayed by Nolasco's team in the second half of the contest.
