After starting the season in spectacular fashion away from Zaragoza with two wins in Tenerife and A Coruña, the Aragonese side are still waiting for their first victory at home. So far, García de Vitoria's team have suffered one home defeat after losing to Valencia Basket in a close game that was decided in the final quarter. Even so, the red-and-blacks will have another opportunity this Sunday against iLERNA Lleida to secure their first official win of the season at the Felipe.
After a disastrous home campaign, becoming a force in front of their own fans is one of the biggest challenges facing Gonzalo García de Vitoria's new project. The squad's extensive overhaul has opened a different chapter for Casademont, who want to take steps forward and set their sights on ambitious targets. To do so, Príncipe Felipe must regain its role as the arena where the Aragonese team can find a large part of the wins they need to progress throughout the season.

With this in mind, the first step toward turning the Felipe into a fortress will come this Sunday against iLERNA Lleida. The Catalan side have already managed to surprise Valencia Basket in their arena on the opening day and have a record of one win and two defeats after the first three league rounds. Against the Catalan team, the red-and-blacks will have the chance to open their home win account and begin turning one of their most coveted objectives into reality.
THE IMPORTANCE OF THE RED TIDE
As part of this plan, the red-and-black club want to continue rebuilding their connection with their supporters so that the Red Tide can once again become a decisive factor. In a video published in recent days on Casademont's social media channels, members of the squad Sergi García, Jaime Fernández, Miguel González and Guillem Vives sent a clear message to the entire Red Tide: they want the Felipe to be a cauldron in every game, starting this Sunday.
"It's the team's sixth man," Miguel González says. Jaime Fernández agrees, emphasizing that the red-and-black supporters make him "always give my best," while Sergi García highlights how the Red Tide pushes them to "have that confidence." Meanwhile, the red-and-blacks' first captain, Guillem Vives, recalls his experience of facing Casademont as an away player: "What I experienced as an opponent is that when they are at full strength, you notice it enormously."
