Aragón Government Director-General for Sport Cristina García announced that this is already the event's fifth edition and that, once again, registration has reached capacity, leaving 60 interested athletes out of the field. "This is an indicator of the event's quality and impact, as well as the potential of the Aragón brand. It is a source of pride. Gambito's commitment in Calatayud has helped promote golf as an economic driver in our region, attracting thousands of golfers from across Spain every year and establishing itself as a powerful brand in the sector," García stressed.
For her part, Director-General for Tourism María Nogueras said this value-added initiative “goes far beyond sport” and is complemented by “extraordinary cuisine, prestigious spas and exceptional cultural heritage” in tourism terms. “I am convinced that all participants will have the opportunity to discover and enjoy these attractions during their stay,” she concluded.
