The four museums on the Caesaraugusta Route will open for free this Sunday. Their exhibitions will allow visitors to travel almost 2,000 years back in time and discover how Zaragoza was one of the most important cities in Hispania during the Roman era. The route includes the Museum of the Forum, the River Port Museum, the Museum of the Public Baths and the Theatre Museum.
The Fire Museum and the Origami Museum (one of the most unique in Europe) will also open their doors for free this Sunday, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in the world of firefighters and the art of folding paper again and again.
THE ALJAFERÍA PALACE IS ALSO FREE
As on the first Sunday of every month, the Aljafería Palace will also open for free, adding to Zaragoza's wide cultural offering. It is one of the city's most representative architectural and heritage gems. In addition to being the seat of the Parliament of Aragon, the Aljafería Palace showcases the Mudejar style in all its splendor within its walls.
It is a must-see stop for anyone arriving in the Ebro capital to go sightseeing, as well as for Aragonese residents who cannot resist visiting it time and again. The Aljafería Palace will be open this Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Visitors must book their tickets in advance through its official platform because capacity is limited.
