The Huesca venue that seats around 100 people and books Soleá Morente, Quique González and Despistaos

Around one hundred people. That is the audience El Veintiuno can accommodate, the Huesca concert venue that has spent 16 years proving that you do not need huge stadiums to enjoy live music. Leading names from Spain’s music scene have performed on its stage, and now, to celebrate its anniversary, it has prepared a lineup featuring Soleá Morente, Quique González, Carlos Sadness, Rubén Pozo and Despistaos, among other artists.

The Huesca venue will celebrate 16 years in operation with 13 concerts between November 2026 and March 2027, a lineup combining rock, indie, pop and more personal projects. It is an opportunity to hear musicians accustomed to performing for thousands of spectators in a space where barely one hundred people can share each show.

"Where 100 people fit, a thousand stories fit," says the venue. And it seems the audience has responded to the proposal, as Despistaos have already sold out the concert that will open the celebrations on November 20.

FROM SOLEÁ MORENTE TO QUIQUE GONZÁLEZ: BIG NAMES ON A SMALL STAGE

One of the most notable concerts will take place on January 23, 2027, with Soleá Morente. The Granada-born artist, daughter of the legendary flamenco singer Enrique Morente, has built her own career by blending flamenco with pop, rock and alternative sounds.

Another standout name on the bill is Quique González, who will perform with Toni Brunet on March 13. The Madrid singer-songwriter, one of the leading figures in Spanish singer-songwriter rock, will arrive in Huesca for a concert that promises to put the focus on his songs and his rapport with the audience.

Carlos Sadness is also on the bill and will perform on February 13. The Barcelona musician, known for his alternative pop melodies and tropical influences, will be another major draw in a lineup that also includes Guille Galván, guitarist and composer with Vetusta Morla, whose performance is scheduled for February 12.

Rock will have a strong presence with Rubén Pozo, a former member of Pereza, who will perform on December 11, and Despistaos, who will kick off the anniversary celebrations on November 20. The latter concert has already sold out.

The lineup also includes acts such as Triángulo de Amor Bizarro, Mala Gestión, Melón Diesel, Rata and Éxtasis, as well as two acoustic performances by Depedro and Queralt Lahoz, scheduled for March.

"We are celebrating our anniversary with thirteen concerts that defy our dimensions," the venue said in a post. Over these 16 years, the venue has managed to attract bands and musicians who usually fill much larger venues. For its 15th anniversary celebrations, it had already brought together artists such as Sidonie, Love of Lesbian and Pancho Varona, demonstrating its ability to secure a place on national tours.
