The Jazz Academia Todo Concuerda will take center stage, bringing together its students and teachers at the Parque Goya Parish from 12:00 p.m. The program will explore genres including blues, jazz, soul, funk and bossa nova, showcasing the variety of sounds that form part of modern music tradition.
The performance will be free and open to the public, offering an opportunity to enjoy live music and learn about the work of those training in these styles.
A MUSICAL TRIBUTE TO JOAQUÍN MERCHÁN
Saturday’s program will feature a second event as part of Jazz al Margen. At 9:00 p.m., the Estación del Norte Civic Center will host a concert by Aurora Clara Flamenco in tribute to Joaquín Merchán, a cultural technician for Zaragoza City Council and a great flamenco enthusiast who died this year.
The group, led by guitarist Raúl Mannola, combines flamenco, progressive rock, fusion jazz and world music. Its members come from different countries, a diversity that is also reflected in the group’s sound.
Unlike the performance in Parque Goya, this concert is not free: tickets cost 10 euros and can be purchased through the Ibercaja ticketing platform.
Both events are part of an edition of Jazz al Margen that will once again bring music to different neighborhoods of Zaragoza, combining performances by established artists with music education and participation projects.
