Huesca teachers to strike, demand Education Inspectorate chief's removal

Among their main demands, the unions are calling for the “removal” of the head of the provincial Education Inspectorate, the “unification” of technical criteria across the three provinces and an “external review” of sanctions imposed on teachers in recent school years. The organizations will hold a press conference early this Wednesday morning outside IES Ramón y Cajal to provide more details and explain their various demands.

The unions say that the lack of solutions after two years of complaints and mobilizations has driven teachers in Huesca province to go “on strike.”
