Under the title “Mullés entalto,” the initiative turns Fonz into one large open-air stage. Music, humor and everyday scenes unfold in a recording that brings together women from several generations and shows different ways of living, working and taking part in rural life.
The video begins with the streets practically empty, and the town gradually awakens. The route passes through Casa Carpi, L'Urmo de la Pllaza, the church, the Town Hall, the library, the arcades and the Fountain, while scenes show a wedding, guiñote card games, a street market, women at work, tractors, girls playing and giant figures.
A TOWN BROUGHT TO LIFE BY ITS WOMEN
The initiative sought to move away from more solemn events and instead promote a closer, more lighthearted celebration. Fonz Mayor María Clusa explained that the participants themselves contributed ideas and became involved in preparing the scenes and rehearsals.
In addition to its message linked to Rural Women’s Day, the recording also serves as a small window into Fonz’s heritage and daily life. Tradition, work, leisure and several generations come together in a piece that seeks to highlight women’s presence as an essential part of the identity and future of rural communities.
The video was produced by Nerea Mur of Alioli Estudio Creativo, who was responsible for directing, filming, editing and post-production, with Carla Badía of Cespira serving as stage manager and assistant director. The ending sums up the spirit of the entire initiative: when they come out, take part and come together, Fonz fills with life.
