Local Police officers went to the scene as soon as they received the alert and secured the perimeter to prevent further risks. As a precaution, they also located the owners of two vehicles parked next to the building so they could remove them from the affected area.

Huesca firefighters later intervened to make the facade safe and remove any elements that could fall. After this work, the pavement beneath the affected balconies remained cordoned off as a precaution.

Local Police have asked pedestrians to respect the barriers and avoid walking through the area until safety can be fully guaranteed. So far, no other people affected or more significant damage has been reported.

The incident occurred after several days of rainfall in Huesca, although it has not been officially established that the rain caused the masonry to fall. Last week, the city also recorded several episodes of heavy rain that required numerous municipal interventions.
