The available homes have one, two or three bedrooms and floor areas ranging from 35 to 83 square meters. All include a parking space, and some also have a storage room. Most are intended for people under 39, although five of the properties are reserved for the general applicant pool. The rent will depend on the size and features of each home.

REQUIREMENTS AND HOW TO APPLY FOR THE HOMES

Applicants must meet a series of conditions to access these rentals. These include not owning a home, having been registered in a municipality in Aragon for more than two years, and holding Spanish nationality or long-term legal residency in Spain. Applicants must also be up to date with payments to public administrations and meet income limits that vary depending on each home and household.

Applications can be submitted through the svaragon.com website, in person at the Suelo y Vivienda de Aragón offices or by registered post. Once the application period closes, the homes will be allocated by a draw held before a notary among those who meet all the requirements set out in the call for applications.

These 23 homes are part of a national program that has enabled the acquisition of 144 properties in different Aragonese towns since 2021. In addition to Sabiñánigo, homes are currently also available in Cariñena and Borja. The initiative complements the “Plan Aragón Más Vivienda”, through which the regional government has promoted nearly 3,600 homes across the region.
