During the opening, López highlighted the role of professionals in addressing the housing problem. “Your experience and professionalism are essential to helping solve what is currently the main problem facing Spaniards,” he stressed, adding that “the housing problem is cross-cutting, involving supply, planning, financing, taxation, industrialized construction and much more. However, it is clear that what public administrations must do is provide legal certainty and help those sectors of the population that need access to public or subsidized housing.”
HOUSING IN THE SPOTLIGHT
The Zaragoza Conference Centre hosted this eighth edition, jointly organized by the National Federation of Real Estate Associations (FAI) and Aportalia, the Zaragoza Association of Real Estate Agencies, which acted as host. The program included sessions on market trends, changes in demand and the housing access crisis.
Technological transformation and the application of artificial intelligence also featured prominently during the event. The congress gave attendees a space to share experiences and tools, strengthen collaboration among agents and put forward proposals to improve the functioning of the residential market.
