MAZ receives a star on Zaragoza's Centenarian Companies Walk of Fame

Mutua MAZ is one of the centenarian companies honored with a star on Zaragoza's Centenarian Companies Walk of Fame, an initiative promoted by the Zaragoza Chamber of Commerce to mark its 140th anniversary and pay tribute to companies in the province with more than a century of history.

With this star, the institution recognizes MAZ's history, its roots in Aragon and its longstanding commitment to protecting the health and well-being of workers.

The star was presented during the opening ceremony of the Walk, held this Friday in the entrance hall of the Chamber of Commerce. The ceremony was presided over by Jorge Villarroya, president of the institution, and Natalia Chueca, mayor of Zaragoza, who presented commemorative stars to the 65 organizations honored, including MAZ.

MAZ now has its own star

This initiative by the Chamber of Commerce aims to highlight the legacy of the province's centenarian companies, recognizing their ability to adapt, their longevity and their contribution to Zaragoza's economic and social development.

For MAZ, “this recognition is a source of pride and a tribute to all the people who, across generations, have helped build our history.”

The organization also stresses that “this distinction encourages us to continue advancing our commitment to occupational health, prevention and support for companies and workers.”

MAZ's star, along with those of the other companies recognized, can be visited until next November 30 on the stretch between Emperador Carlos V and Plaza de San Francisco in Zaragoza, alongside the stars of other centenarian companies from the province.

This tribute strengthens MAZ's ties with the region and recognizes a history marked by proximity, a vocation for service and constant development to respond to the needs of companies and workers.
