In sustainability, Copo Zaragoza was recognized in the large-company category for a model combining industrial competitiveness, energy efficiency, the circular economy, carbon footprint reduction, sustainable mobility and equality. Technopark Motorland received the SME award for MotoStudent, an initiative that across eight editions has involved more than 20,000 students and 450 university teams from over 25 countries, bringing young people closer to engineering, innovation and low-emission mobility.

RECOGNITION FOR LEADERS IN ARAGON’S AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY

Automotive Industry Night also recognized Stephan González, executive vice president of Motherson, as Executive of the Year for a career spanning more than 25 years in the sector and his connection to the Épila plant. Benito Tesier received the CAAR Aragon Industry Award for his 13 years at the helm of the cluster and his role in promoting business collaboration, digitalization, innovation and sustainable mobility. The award was presented by Aragon Government Vice President Mar Vaquero. The gala concluded with two special recognitions, including one presented to Ibercaja and Fundación Ibercaja for their support for Aragon’s business community and the development of the automotive and mobility sectors, coinciding with their 150th anniversary.
