The programme's progress was reviewed at the annual meeting of its Monitoring Committee, held in Zaragoza. The meeting was attended by the European Commission, the Ministry of Labour and the bodies responsible for managing funds aimed at promoting employment, training, social inclusion and equal opportunities.

57 PROJECTS ALREADY SELECTED

So far, 57 projects have been selected through public calls and tenders. Their value represents nearly 60% of the programme's total allocation. If all the planned actions are implemented by December 2027, this percentage will reach approximately 85.5%.

The projects target, among other groups, unemployed people, young people, people with disabilities and residents of rural areas. The actions focus on improving access to employment, technological training, social inclusion and childcare.

NEARLY 94% ACHIEVE A TECHNOLOGICAL QUALIFICATION

Key results include social inclusion programmes, which have assisted 16,726 vulnerable people, 3,941 of whom have found employment. In technological training, 2,608 of the 2,787 participants have obtained a professional qualification, nearly 94%. In addition, early intervention services have reached 727 children.

The Directorate-General for Financing and European Funds will coordinate meetings on Thursday between the European Commission and several departments of the Government of Aragon. The meetings will address the region's priorities for the next Multiannual Financial Framework for 2028-2034 and their possible inclusion in the European Union's future Cohesion Policy.
