DATA IN SPAIN
In Spain, the number of registered unemployed people rose by 23,587 in September (+1%), reaching 2,379,505 unemployed people. The negative trend is linked to the extraordinary regularization process for migrants, which brought nearly 30,000 new job seekers in the past month.
At the end of September, 56,476 unemployed people were registered after benefiting from the extraordinary regularization process, and 52% had been registered with SEPE for less than a month—more than 29,000 people, according to data published Friday by the Ministry of Labour and Social Economy.
