The job opening is aimed at people with knowledge of electrical or mechanical equipment who are eager to learn and build a professional career in digital infrastructure. AWS provides internal training to new employees, so specific data center experience is not a requirement.

The company is looking for candidates who are curious, able to solve problems and focused on learning and professional growth. The position could therefore provide an entry point into a specialized sector from Aragon, with opportunities for professional and international development.

WORKING WITH SYSTEMS THAT OPERATE 24/7

Technicians are responsible for monitoring, maintaining and repairing the critical systems that keep data centers running. These facilities must remain operational 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with particular attention to safety.

The equipment these professionals work with includes UPS systems, circuit breakers, transfer switches, diesel generators, chillers, HVAC systems, exhaust fans, variable frequency drives and transformers.

The position is aimed at people with knowledge of electrical or mechanical equipment, although previous work experience in a data center is not essential. The training provided by AWS allows new employees to become familiar with the systems and procedures specific to the role.

AN OPPORTUNITY TO GROW FROM ARAGON

The job offers the opportunity to build a career in the digital infrastructure sector, an area that requires specialized technical profiles and provides opportunities for professional and international development.

In addition to its data centers in Zaragoza and Huesca, AWS is considering a future presence in Teruel, expanding the company’s footprint in Aragon.

Interested candidates can review the full job requirements and submit their application through Amazon’s official careers portal.
